New Student Online Orientation

Shoreline Community College is COMMITTED TO STUDENT SUCCESS.  We offer a comprehensive orientation program for new students designed to give you information about Shoreline's degree options, programs, and services available to students.

Through the orientation process, students are given assistance in:

  • Understanding and interpreting placement test scores in order to select courses that are right for them;
  • Become familiar with the quarterly time schedule, catalog, and key campus services;
  • Selecting courses;
  • Building schedules;
  • Registering for classes (Only students directed to this site by the Admissions Office will be able to register for classes using this particular process); and
  • Being assigned an academic advisor.

This online orientation has been developed for the convenience of distance learning students and students who do not plan to complete a degree program at Shoreline Community College. However, all students are encouraged to review this information. Upon completion of this online session, you will be given your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and can proceed with online registration.
