Orientation
Shoreline Community College is
COMMITTED TO STUDENT SUCCESS. We offer a comprehensive orientation
program for new students designed to give you information about Shoreline's degree options, programs, and services
available to students.
Through the orientation process,
students are given assistance in:
- Understanding and
interpreting placement test scores in order to select
courses that are right for them;
- Become
familiar with the quarterly time schedule, catalog, and key
campus services;
- Selecting
courses;
- Building
schedules;
- Registering for classes
(Only students directed to this site by the Admissions Office
will be able to register for classes using this particular
process);
and

Being
assigned an academic advisor.
This online
orientation has been developed for the convenience of distance
learning students and students who do not plan to complete a degree
program at Shoreline Community College. However, all students are
encouraged to review this information.
Upon completion of this online session,
you will be given your Personal Identification Number (PIN) and can
proceed with online registration.
