Are you thinking about taking a Distance Learning Class? If so, check out Shoreline's DL site and take the Self-Assessment to learn what you'll need to be successful in the DL environment. You should be comfortable using a computer, using the Internet, and sending e-mail. Your computer should have the software appropriate for the course and you should have reliable Internet access. And, you need to be very much a self-starter with the ability to dedicate 10-15 hours a week for study and class participation. Go to http://success.shoreline.edu/distance/ today.
