I had to take online classes because they were not offered face to face. I prefer face to face classes and it seems it is getting harder and harder to find them now.
for question #5 the online registration is great but i am not happy about limited option for finding classes.
I am a North Seattle student. The quality of your insturctors and instruction in Marketing is the reason I chose to seek an instructor at Shoreline. It was impossible (refused) to have the Marketing instructor begin class instruction at NSCC even though the class was paid in full two months in advance. Certainly, my instructor Judy Yu so far has been most understanding of my needs. I regret, though, that I did not have her or David Starr in a "chalk and talk" situation. I truly believe I would have enjoyed their insights and wisdom in a traditional classroom setting. I am sure the exchanges would have been most engaging and enlightening.
My sister who just graduated from here.
My local SLP gave me the information to pursue if I was interested.
My local ESD first introduced this program by having Shoreline's personel  deliver a great presentation. No follow up was announced. One year later the ESD did not remember ever offering that presentatio. I was seeking, so I began phoning institutions and my own endeavors led me to the SLPA program.
I look in the Shoreline Community College schedule book to find out my class for the next coming quarter.  I saw some class was offer online, so I tried it out and I feel in love with it.
I went to a couple information meetings through my school district I work for. I am a para educator for the Longview school district and I hope to stay with the school district and become an SLPA as openings come up. The Longview school district hired 3 SLPAs last spring and are anticipating a need for more in the future.

Advisor, Previous Teacher..
Course was part of the Certificate program I was already taking.
A co-worker that teaches at another on-line college for the AHIMA program. SHe told me that Shoreline was phasing in the on-line RHIT program, so I decided to start here. I hope that the remainder of the classes are phased in so that I may get my degree from Shoreline without needing to transfer, as I work full-time and can only take on-line classes, or limited Saturday classes.
